Terms of Use

Last updated: 30 September 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) cover your use of https://itemtrail.com (the “Site”) and any purchase you make from itemtrail, which is operated by itemtrail (“we”, “us”). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights.

1. Who can order

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live.
  • You must give accurate and complete information when you create an account or place an order. Keep your account password safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • You must not use the Site or our products for anything unlawful, or try to disrupt, scrape or gain unauthorised access to the Site.

2. Products and availability

Our products are supplied and shipped by third-party partner warehouses. We try to describe and picture every product accurately. However, colours, sizes and minor specifications may vary slightly because of screens, manufacturing batches or supplier updates. Stock depends on our suppliers and can change without notice. We may limit quantities, and we may cancel an order with a full refund if an item becomes unavailable or was listed with an obvious pricing error.

3. Orders and contract

When you place an order, you make an offer to buy. We email you an order confirmation, and the contract is formed when we accept your order by processing your payment. You can review and correct your order before you submit it at checkout. Contracts are concluded in English.

4. Prices and payment

  • Prices are shown in USD. Shipping is free unless checkout says otherwise.
  • We accept credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay (processed by Stripe), and PayPal where it’s shown at checkout. We don’t see or store your full card details.
  • You’re charged when you place your order.
  • Import VAT, duties and carrier fees charged by your destination country aren’t included unless checkout says so. See Shipping & Delivery.

5. Shipping and delivery

We process orders in 1–3 business days. Delivery usually takes 7–15 business days after dispatch. These are estimates. Items in one order may arrive in separate parcels. Risk in the goods passes to you when they’re delivered to you or to a person you name. Full details are on Shipping & Delivery.

6. Returns, refunds and cancellations

You can return items within 30 days of delivery. Consumers in the EU, EEA and UK also have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal and a legal guarantee for faulty goods. How to return, costs, refund timing and the model withdrawal form are all on Returns & Refunds.

7. Using outdoor gear safely

Outdoor and exploration activities carry risk. Read the instructions that come with each product, use it only for its intended purpose, and follow local laws. This includes laws on carrying knives and tools, and on access to sites and private land. Reveal stories and our product descriptions are for inspiration, not safety advice.

8. Limitation of liability

We don’t exclude or limit liability where the law forbids it. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and your statutory rights as a consumer. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows:

  • We aren’t liable for losses caused by misuse of a product or by events beyond our reasonable control.
  • We aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses that weren’t foreseeable when the contract was made.
  • Our total liability for an order is limited to the price you paid for it.

9. Site content and links

The Site’s text, design and images belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy them for commercial use without our permission. Links to other sites, such as reveal.world or carrier tracking pages, are provided for convenience. We aren’t responsible for their content.

10. Privacy

How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the law of United States (US). If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring proceedings in your local courts. Please contact us first so we can try to solve any problem. EU consumers can also use their national consumer centre (ECC-Net) or an approved alternative dispute resolution body.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms, and the version posted here with its “Last updated” date applies to new orders. The Terms that applied when you placed your order continue to apply to that order.
